I’m a singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee, and I’ve been writing songs since I was twelve years old.

These days, most of what I write comes from the life happening right in front of me. Marriage, raising three boys, faith, friendships, getting older without feeling old, looking back without wanting to live there, and trying to slow down enough to appreciate all of it while it’s happening.

Musically, I’ve always been a little all over the map. I grew up loving timeless records from the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and the Beatles, while artists like John Mayer and Keith Urban shaped the way I thought about musicianship and artistry. Dave Barnes showed me how powerful a great song can be when it feels conversational, honest, and maybe even a little funny.

I think pieces of all of that have found their way into my music. There’s country and Americana, but there’s also pop melody, guitars, harmonies, and plenty of rock-and-roll energy. I’m less interested in what box a song fits into than whether it feels true.

I’m currently making my sixth record, and for the first time, I’m producing it myself. The songs feel especially close to the season of life I’m in right now.
